Michael Caruso, Assistant Aquatics Coordinator, Head Coach Otters Swim Team
Michael is an American Swim Coach Association Level IV swim coach. Michael comes to the Beede Center by way of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana. Michael was head coach of the Men’s and Women’s Division III Swimming and Diving program for six seasons. Michael has coached student-athletes to one individual national championship, 15 national qualifying times and two All-American awards and two Honorable All-Americans in 2006. He was also named CCIW Men’s Coach of the Year in 2008. In his six seasons Michael’s swimmers have compiled 27 school records, 47 all-conference swims and a total of 32 all-conference award winning swimmers and divers as well as a 2008 Olympic qualifier. As a student at Bridgewater State, Michael was a varsity swimmer for three
years and captained the team for two years. Michael is excited to share his coaching experience with the Beede Center.
