Winter Storm Information - Feb. 7
Weather forecasters are increasingly confident that a major storm will affect our area Friday afternoon into Saturday.  1-2’ of snow with high winds could mean blizzard conditions.  It is advised that you monitor the weather predictions as the track of the storm becomes more apparent.  This could be a serious storm.

Here at Emergency Management we will continue to be in touch with the National Weather Service and MEMA to further monitor developments.  All town departments with emergency response responsibilities are doing final preparations and are in good ready state.  In the way of home preparations, which should take place before tomorrow morning, please peruse the below links from the MEMA webpage.

Concord Public Works requests that motorists heed the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agencies (MEMA) recommendation to stay off the roads if they can during the storm to allow CPW snow plows to clear the roads.

CPW notifies Friday’s Curbside Solid Waste and Recycling Collection subscribers that collection will begin at 6:00 AM. Please have your barrels and containers placed curbside before 6:00 AM. In the event that Waste Management is unable to collect all of Friday’s route before the storm intensifies and they must leave Concord, please remove your barrels and containers. CPW will provide a future update of when collection will take place.

In the event of an extreme or medical emergency please call 911
