CTC Public Hearing
The Citizens School Transportation Committee (CTC) is pleased to invite you to our first public hearing on August 16, 2012 in the upstairs meeting room at Town Hall from 7:00-9:00pm. (Please note change of location from earlier posting) A short CTC Committee meeting will follow from 9:00-9:30pm.
The CTC was established by the Concord Special Town Meeting on April 24, 2012 “to search diligently for ways to maintain the existing Bus Transportation Department” and has been meeting every two weeks gathering the information necessary to meet that goal.
On August 16th we will be presenting our work to date on safety, costs, potential sites, level of service and intangible social factors. We are particularly interested in receiving input from the community on our work and strongly urge you to come.
The CTC will hold a second and final public hearing on September 13th. We will present our report and recommendations to the School Committee at their October 2, 2012 meeting.
