CAUCUS IN EARLY JANUARY – CONSIDER RUNNING FOR TOWN OFFICE
Concord’s Town Caucus is early this year, due to the early date of the Annual Town Election (combined with the Presidential Primary on March 6th). The Caucus, which is Concord’s nominating process for choosing candidates for elected offices, will be held on Monday, January 9th at 7:30 pm at the Town House.
Positions on the ballot this year are as follows:
- Moderator – one-year term (Incumbent Eric Van Loon anticipated to run for re-election)
- Board of Selectmen -- two positions, each three-year term (Incumbent Elise Woodward anticipated to run for re-election; Incumbent Gregory Howes not running for re-election)
- School Committee -- two positions, each three-year term (Incumbents Peter Fischelis and Jerry Wedge not running for re-election)
- Concord Housing Authority – five-year term (Incumbent Christopher Corkery not running for re-election)
