The Concord Public Works Commission has declared a State of Water Supply Conservation, requesting voluntary compliance by all town water customers to refrain from outdoor water use.
We appreciate your compliance with this request which has resulted in some reduction in water demand. Your continued effort to curtail outdoor water use is necessary to allow the town to avoid issuing a Mandatory Non-Essential Water Use Ban.
Concord Public Works is continuing to monitor this serious water capacity issue, due to the prolonged period of hot and dry weather, and will provide additional updates as necessary in the “news and notices” section of the town’s website: www.concordma.gov.
Thank you for your cooperation.
