During the scheduled gate closures, Hanscom AFB users and visitors will use Gate 2 at Marrett Street/Airport Road as the alternative gate access.
Airport Road (aka Marrett Street, aka Access Road), the access to Gate 2 from Route 2A, is located approximately 1 mile east of the intersection of Hanscom Road and Route 2A and about ½-mile west of Interstate Route 95 (aka Route 128). Every effort has been made to minimize the duration of the closures, including scheduling the majority of the work to occur on weekends, when Hanscom AFB traffic is substantially reduced.
Residents will see traffic increase on Airport Road during construction.
Please be aware that construction activity is weather dependent and all scheduled dates are subject to change. Advance notice of schedule changes will be provided to the maximum extent practicable.
