ABSENTEE BALLOTS – ANNUAL TOWN ELECTION
The Annual Town Election will be held on Tuesday, March 23. Included on the ballot is a contested race for Moderator, two openings on the Board of Selectmen, and two openings on the School Committee.
On Election Day, the polls will be open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. Absentee ballots for the election are now available at the Town Clerk’s Office for residents who are unable to come to the polls in person during these hours due to 1) absence from Concord; 2) physical disability; or 3) religious belief. The deadline for applying for an absentee ballot is noon on Monday, March 22. Immediate family members may apply on behalf of a registered voter, with the ballot being mailed directly to the voter. Absentee ballot voting may either be done in person at the Town Clerk’s Office prior to the Election, or by mail. Completed absentee ballots should be returned to the Town Clerk’s Office at the Town House by 8:00 pm on March 23—do not return ballots to the polls. If requesting a mailed ballot, please allow ample time for mailing so that the completed ballot is received by the close of polls on March 23. If there are any questions, contact the Town Clerk’s Office via e-mail at townclerk@concordma.gov or via
telephone at 978-318-3080.
