ABSENTEE BALLOTS FOR SPECIAL STATE ELECTION
A Special State Election is scheduled for Tuesday, January 19th to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Senator Edward M. Kennedy. Polls will be open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm on Election Day.
Absentee ballots are now available for the Election for those voters who are unable to come to the polls in person on Election Day due to: (1) absence from Concord during polling hours; (2) physical disability preventing you from going to the polling place; or (3) religious belief. You may vote in person at the Town House during office hours on or before January 15th, or request that a ballot be mailed to you. The deadline for absentee balloting is 5:00 pm on Friday, January 15th. Please note that Monday, January 18th (the day prior to the Election) is a State Holiday and all Town Offices will be closed.
