ABSENTEE BALLOTS FOR SPECIAL STATE ELECTION

A Special State Election is scheduled for Tuesday, January 19th to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Senator Edward M. Kennedy.  Polls will be open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm on Election Day.

Absentee ballots are now available for the Election for those voters who are unable to come to the polls in person on Election Day due to:  (1) absence from Concord during polling hours; (2) physical disability preventing you from going to the polling place; or (3) religious belief.  You may vote in person at the Town House during office hours on or before January 15th, or request that a ballot be mailed to you.  The deadline for absentee balloting is 5:00 pm on Friday, January 15th.  Please note that Monday, January 18th (the day prior to the Election) is a State Holiday and all Town Offices will be closed.  Contact the Town Clerk’s Office for further information --- 978-318-3080, or via e-mail at townclerk@concordma.gov.
