The track of the storm has altered our forecast. Still expecting 5 to 7 inches of snow, starting early this am and continuing till noon. Sometime early this afternoon, expect a changeover to a mix of snow and either sleet or freezing rain, and possibly alternating between sleet and freezing rain until mid evening. Possible to have 1/4 inch of freezing rain accumulate as ice and winds are expected to be 25 mph or less. The snow will be heavy as the rain comes in and removing it will take some work.
Morning commute looks ok but evening commute very tricky.
Best advice is watch what is happening outside your window this afternoon and stay tuned to local media for updates.
Bundle up, be ready to do the penguin walk to avoid slipping on the ice, and plan your travel, leaving extra time for commuting this evening.
