ConcordCares Weatherization Blitz January 17th
The Saturday, January 17th Weatherization Blitz is just one of the programs offered by ConcordCares, a group of citizens, community organizations, and Town staff who came together to address the energy issues for qualified residents during these tough economic times.

Over 50 trained Volunteers will come together at the Harvey Wheeler Community Center at 8:00 AM on Saturday morning before they form teams of 4, pick up their supplies and head out into the community.   They will install interior plastic storm windows, weather stripping for doors, and foam gaskets behind the exterior outlets.  They will also check your smoke detectors and make suggestions for other projects that can make your home more energy efficient.

This Weatherization Blitz is one of several such events throughout this winter.  If you have not yet added your home to the schedule, please call the numbers listed below to learn more about this service that is offered free of charge to you.  By doing simple weatherization you can save money on fuel, conserve energy and keep warm this winter.
