The track of the storm we expect on Friday has changed, looks like it will be further south then originally thought. This does not buy us anything though, our snow accumulation is still in the 6-10 inch range with some forecasters showing 12 inches possible. Looks like snow will start between 11 AM and 2 PM and intensify around evening commute to 1 inch an hour snowfall. By midnight the majority of the storm should have passed over us, leaving flurries until morning. Expect some wind that will cause drifting and temps to be in the 20's overnight and in the teens on Saturday.
It still appears there is another storm on track for Sunday, this will likely be a snow to ice and maybe some rain situation for the area. We’ll continue to monitor the development of that storm over the upcoming weekend.
Continue to monitor this storm and get ready for a good old fashioned snowstorm.
