With winter around the corner, fuel costs escalating and the economy on a down turn many folks are wondering how they will stay warm and safe this winter. The Stay Warm - Stay Safe Seminar, to be presented at the Harvey Wheeler Community Center on Wednesday November 5th at 7 PM, will present information on resources and information on heating your home safely.
This program is open to Concord Residents of all ages. If there is a need, transportation to and from the meeting will be available. Presenters will include David Harrison from Southern Middlesex Opportunity Council who will share information about the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). Brent Reagor from the Concord Health Department will talk about health issues related to keeping warm. Captain Kenneth Willette from the Concord Fire Department will address making sure heating apparatus is safe.
