Due to the extreme temperatures, The Concord Emergency Management Agency and the Concord Council on Aging are opening a cooling shelter at the Harvey Wheeler Community Center,1276 Main St., Concord,MA.. Hours of operation are 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Monday, June 9, and noon to 10:00 PM on Tuesday, June 10.
The Cooling Shelter will be supported by COA staff and members of Concord's Citizen Emergency Response Team,(CERT).
