There has been a growing number of reported Lyme Disease cases in Concord and through out Massachusettes. Ticks can be found in grassy fields, wooded areas or even our own backyards. Preventative measures should be observed year round with special attention taken May through October. Prompt removal of an embedded tick will greatly reduce the chances of the tick transmitting disease. Read attached handout Lyme Disease in our community
