Community Preservation

Town Meeting approved the Community Preservation Committee's slate of recommendations in the Town's first use of Community Preservation Act funds. The items funded included repairs to the Warner's Pond Dam on Commonwealth Avenue, a fire suppression and alarm system for the Town House, and a variety of historical preservation and housing initiatives. The Town's participation in the cpa program enables local tax dollars to leverage State funds raised through the deeds excise tax to bring more State funding to Concord.
