Jill Grosso Head Coach Concord Otters
Jill is an American Swim Coach Association Level 2 Age Group Coach. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Fitness and Leisure Studies with a concentration in Aquatics from Salem State College. She has been an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor for 15 years. Jill has over 10 years of coaching experience. She began a recreation summer swim team for the Saugus YMCA Outdoor Pool Center in 1990. Jill also served as an assistant swim coach for Burbank YMCA in Reading for three years where she worked on stroke development with the 8 and under team, assisted with the senior team training program and developed a dry-land training program for the team. Jill attended the YMCA Nationals as a coach in 2003. She will be coaching M - Th 4:30 – 6:30PM
Katey Lesneski Assistant Coach Concord Otters
Katey has been swimming for as long as she can remember. A 2007 high school graduate, she swam for the Concord-Carlisle swim team for three years. As a child, she was a member of the Concord Country Club swim team during the summer seasons. She has also been working as a lifeguard at the Beede Center since March 2007, and is looking forward to coaching the Otters team! Katey will be coaching Mondays 4:30 – 6:30PM
Erin MacDonough Assistant Coach Concord Otters
Erin began working for Concord Recreation last summer teaching lessons at Hunt Pool for Junior Camp. This fall she moved up to the Beede Center full time as an Aquatic Specialist – teaching lessons, lifeguard training, assistant coach for the Otters. She had been previously working in the aquatics field for over 7 years with MIT. She is WSI certified for the past 3 years. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a degree in Sociology in 2005. She is currently working on her ASCA Level One Certification. Erin will be coaching Wednesdays 4:30 – 6:30PM
Meaghan Simpson Assistant Coach Concord Otters
Meaghan began working for Beede Center this past summer teaching lessons for Concord Recreation summer camp. She has since become a Full Time Aquatic Specialist teaching lessons, Assistant Coach for the Otters and one of 3 coaches for our Coached Workouts program. Meaghan is ASCA Level One Coach. Meaghan has been a facility head coach for North Shore Swim Team since 2002 and a Salem State College Assistant Coach since 2006. She graduated from Salem State College in 2006 with a degree in Art/Photography and a minor in Aquatic Management. Meaghan will be coaching on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 – 6:30PM.
Olivia Doty Assistant Coach Concord Otters
Olivia began teaching for the Beede Center upon it’s opening in 2006. She has taught for Concord Recreation Summer Camp for the past two summers. She was an assistant coach for the Otters in 2006. She has been WSI Certified since 2006. Olivia is a senior at Acton Boxborough High School and will be coaching with us again upon the conclusion of her high school swimming season. Her schedule is yet to be determined.
