The Natural Resources Commission is a five-member board appointed by the Town Manager, with the approval of the Board of Selectmen, for three-year, staggered terms. The NRC is responsible for the overall stewardship of the natural resources of the Town, and the establishment of Town environmental policy in conjunction with the Board of Selectmen and Town Meeting. The Natural Resources Commission acts as Conservation Commission in all matters delegated by Massachusetts General Law or Town bylaw.
The NRC generally meets the first and third Wednesday of each month. Please contact the Division of Natural Resources to confirm meeting dates and locations.
Place: 141 Keyes Road, first floor meeting room (unless otherwise posted)
Time: 7:00 PM
The first Wednesday of January falls on New Year's Day, so the regularly scheduled 1st and 3rd Wednesday meetings have been changed to the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays for January 2014 only. These meetings are scheduled for January 8 and January 22. The regularly scheduled first and third Wednesday meetings will resume in February.
