The Natural Resources Commission is a five-member board appointed by the Town Manager, with the approval of the Board of Selectmen, for three-year, staggered terms. The NRC is responsible for the overall stewardship of the natural resources of the Town, and the establishment of Town environmental policy in conjunction with the Board of Selectmen and Town Meeting. The Natural Resources Commission acts as Conservation Commission in all matters delegated by Massachusetts General Law or Town bylaw.

The NRC generally meets the first and third Wednesday of each month. Please contact the Division of Natural Resources to confirm meeting dates and locations.

THE NRC WILL HOLD ONE MEETING IN JULY AND ONE MEETING IN AUGUST. THE JULY MEETING IS SCHEDULED FOR JULY 16, AND THE AUGUST MEETING IS TENTATIVELY SCHEDULED FOR AUGUST 13.
