AGENDA

The Town of Concord Board of Appeals will hold a public meeting for continued hearings at 7:30 P.M. and new hearings at 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 14, 2014 in the First Floor Meeting Room, 141 Keyes Road, Concord, Massachusetts.

INFORMATION IN SUPPORT OF EACH AGENDA ITEM MAY BE REVIEWED AT THE BOARD OF APPEALS OFFICE, FIRST FLOOR, 141 KEYES ROAD, SUMMER HOURS: MONDAY– THURSDAY 8:00 A.M. TO 4:30 P.M. & FRIDAY 8:00 A.M. TO NOON.
Continuances are typically heard between 7:30 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. with new hearings scheduled to begin at 8:00 P.M. At the discretion of the Chair, continuances that are unresolved at 8:00 P.M. could be tabled until after all scheduled new hearings conclude. If there are no continued hearings, the Board of Appeals may hold a work session at 7:30 P.M.

Cutting Edge Homes Inc., on behalf of Thomas Tarpey & Carolyn King, for a Special Permit, under Sections 6.2.6, 7.1.3, 7.1.5, and 11.6, to reconstruct, extend, alter, or change a non-conforming structure, so that the new structure is more than fifty percent greater than the gross floor area of the existing structure at 169 Heaths Bridge Road.

383 Cambridge Turnpike, LLC, on behalf of Kerry Diskin and R.W. Evans, for a Special Permit, under Sections 6.3.2 and 11.6, for a hammerhead lot at 385 & 405 Cambridge Turnpike. (REQUESTED TO WITHDRAW APPLICATION WITHOUT PREJUDICE)

Symes Development & Permitting, LLC for a Special Permit, under Sections 10 and 11.6, for a 22-unit Planned Residential Development at 140 Commerford Road (Parcel # 2000-15, 2000-15-1, 1978-1, 1978-2, 1977, and 1976-1). (REQUESTED CONTINUANCE TO 9/11/14 MEETING)

New Hearings:
8:00 P.M. – Hart Associates Architects, on behalf of Kevin Foley and Leah Flanigan, for a Special Permit, under Sections 7.1.2, 7.1.5, and 11.6, to reconstruct, extend, alter, or change a non-conforming use, to reconstruct the existing detached additional dwelling unit as a three car garage and additional dwelling unit at 92 Alcott Road.

8:05 P.M. – Normandy Concord Acquisition LLC, for an Amendment to an existing Special Permit and Site Plan Approval, under Sections 7.2, 7.5, 7.7, 7.7.2.4, 7.7.3, 7.7.3.6, 11.6, and 11.8, to allow the construction of a 3-story extended stay hotel at 320 Baker Avenue (Parcel # 3794-1 and 3794-1-2). (REQUESTED CONTINUANCE TO 9/11/14 MEETING)
