Materials Preparation
Residents must have paid their semi-annual collection fee to receive collection.
Trash and recyclable materials are collected at curbside once a week and must be set out by 7:00 a.m. to ensure collection.

Oversized Waste

Concord's curbside program accepts only itmes that fit in a bag or barrel.  Largre items may be disposed of at the semi-annual DropOff days.  Contact 978-318-3240 for questions and dditional information.

Trash Collection Guidelines:

Each bag or barrel must have a green disposal tag or six-month barrel sticker.
Trash may be placed in plastic trash bags or barrels up to 34 gallons in size.
Barrels must weigh no more than 40 pounds.
Materials may not extend above the barrel rim.
There is no limit to the number of bags or barrels a resident may set out.
Styrofoam packaging peanuts must be placed in securely tied bags in order to be disposed of as trash. Barrels with loose packaging peanuts will not be collected. Packaging peanuts may be recycled at local packaging stores (see additional materials).

Corrugated cardboard - flattened, no larger than 3’x3’x15"

 Do Not Include

No pizza boxes, soiled paper, or plastic bags.
No cardboard larger than 3' square.
No paper products that are designed to get wet and hold their shape, such as coffee or paper cups, or any paper product designed to go in the refrigerator or freezer (ice cream carton, frozen juice container, paper takeout food containers, etc.).

Remove lids & corks

No other glass items such as ceramics, drinking glasses, dishes, Pyrex, or window glass.

ALUMINUM & STEEL
Cans, Lids & Foil  
No aerosol, paint, or solvent cans.
No propane tanks.

PLASTIC
Food, Beverage & Household Product Containers
Throw away plastic lids and pumps
No motor oil or chemical containers.
No Styrofoam.cups or trays
No flower pots
No plastic bags.

ACEPTIC CONTAINERS
