In 2005 Concord Police and Fire Building underwent major renovations. One of the major upgrades was renovation to the existing third floor into a state of the art training and meeting room. The new training facilities is equipped with the latest electronic and presentation equipment such as overhead prjection, 42 inch LCD Smart Board, Smart Symposium equipped with its built in computers system, VCR and DVD, wireless microphone system and the capibility to adapt to other forms of presentation devices.
In addition this are was designed to be used as an emergency operations center if needed. Equipped with multiple internet connection points, emergency phone banks, gis capibilities,and access to both emergency radio and dispatch systems.
