Wellness – The COA’s Wellness Program is under direction of a nurse/coordinator. The program consists of clinics, consultations and educational programs designed to support healthy aging. Clinics include blood pressure and blood sugar monitoring and other special clinics such as the yearly flu immunization.

Educational programs include numerous topics such as identifying risk factors for heart attack and stroke, improving memory, and dental clinics just to name a few. There is also a monthly diabetes screening held as a drop in clinic on the third Wednesday of each month run by a registered nurse.
LUNCH & LEARN
Our Lunch & Learn events offer a unique opportunity to hear an educational and interesting speaker while enjoying lunch with other COA members.
SAFE MEDS AT HOME
This program sends trained volunteers into the home of a senior who would benefit from additional help in setting up their weekly pill box. The service enables many seniors and their families to feel more comfortable with this often challenging part of remaining independent.
Fitness – Because of its commitment to healthy aging, the COA offers regular exercise classes. Monday and Thursday mornings Aerobics as well as Strength & Flexibility classes are offered. Monday afternoons a Tai Chi class is available and on Friday morning there is Yoga at 9:30.
