Ginger received her undergraduate degree in Social and Health Resources from the University of Nevada Reno and her Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia. She is a licensed social worker in Massachusetts and loves working with seniors!
Bonny received her post-graduate Certificate in Gerontology from the University of New England in Portland, Maine. She has a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Lesley University. After 15 years in Maine, Bonny is happy to be back living and working with seniors in her hometown of Concord.
Social Services Coordinator
Sally received her Masters in Social Work from Boston University. She worked as a social worker at Emerson Hospital for 27 years, retiring in September 2010 as Social Work Supervisor. She is very happy to be at the COA and to have the opportunity to continue her work with Concord seniors.
Carol loves being at the COA and connecting with so many old and new friends on a regular basis. Carol has been a longtime Concord resident and along with her husband, John, raised her two daughters in town. She has a degree in business from Northeastern University and she is thankful to have been so involved in the community over the years from co-starting the Ed Fund and becoming director at the Chamber of Commerce, to running events for Concord Academy and being involved in fundraising at The Fenn School. Today, her areas of expertise include fundraising, communications, and event planning.
Joyce earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Boston College, and her Masters of Education in Counseling from Northeastern University. In a former positon, she was a Supervisor of home health aides and homemakers. While earning a Certificate in Paralegal Studies, Joyce assisted seniors with various legal and civil issues. She feels very fortunate to be part of the Council on Aging, and looks forward to knowing and working with Concord's seniors. Joyce and her husband have four children and live in Needham.
Catherine graduated from Boston College with a bachelorís degree in nursing. With her experience creating a corporate wellness program and her nursing background in long-term care and geriatric rehabilitation, Catherine is thrilled to join the COA team as the new Wellness Coordinator. In addition to serving seniors, she is also excited to work with the Public Health Department on specific community health projects.
Tina is happy to join the Council on Aging to work with Concord's seniors. She earned her undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and her Masters of Education in Counseling from Boston State College. She has had a long career in coordinating community service programs for individuals and families. Tina and her husband live in Acton. They have two children and two grandchildren.
Chris grew up in Bedford, did undergrad study at the University of Lowell, and worked as a custodian for a church for 30 years before coming to the COA. Chris loves whitewater rafting and camping. He has guided trips in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts and New York for 28 years. He and his wife love to canoe and kayak at their cottage in Maine.
Our Van Drivers
Michael and his wife Celestra live in Maynard. Michael's passion is the weather and he was a meteorologist for over 20 years. Since his start at the COA, Michael has thoroughly enjoyed driving around the town he grew up in. Michael is looking forward to many miles and smiles ahead here at the COA.
Steve is a University of Massachusetts Amherst graduate with a BA in Psychology. He has had careers in social work, medical electronics and school transporatation. Steve enjoys the Council on Aging transport role and all the new senior friends.
Steve received his BS from Cornell University and a MBA from Columbia University. His real love is sailing large schooners and he has a 100-ton Coast Guard License. He is currently the Deputy Director of Concord Emergency Management Agency and the Amateur Radio Emergency Services Coordinator for Middlesex County.
Dick was a high technology professional for forty years. He is a resident of Concord and vacations in Maine. Dick is now grateful to drive for the Council on Aging.
Charles (Chuck) Dutton
Chuck, his wife Donna and 18 year old son Kyle have been residents of Westford for 22 years. After many years in publishing, Chuck is now driving for three area senior centers, Concord being his newest adventure. He looks forward to meeting all the Concord van riders.
