Ginger Quarles
Director

Ginger received her undergraduate degree in Social and Health Resources from the University of Nevada Reno and her Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia. She is a licensed social worker in Massachusetts and loves working with seniors!
Bonny Wilbur
Program Supervisor
Bonny received her post-graduate Certificate in Gerontology from the University of New England in Portland, Maine. She has a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Lesley University. After 15 years in Maine, Bonny is happy to be back living and working with seniors in her hometown of Concord.
Sally Lopez
Social Services Coordinator
Sally received her Masters in Social Work from Boston University. She worked as a social worker at Emerson Hospital for 27 years, retiring in September 2010 as Social Work Supervisor. She is very happy to be at the COA and to have the opportunity to continue her work with Concord seniors.
Carol Dromgoole
Volunteer Coordinator
Carol loves being at the COA and connecting with so many old and new friends on a regular basis. Carol has been a longtime Concord resident and along with her husband, John, raised her two daughters in town. She has a degree in business from Northeastern University and she is thankful to have been so involved in the community over the years from co-starting the Ed Fund and becoming director at the Chamber of Commerce, to running events for Concord Academy and being involved in fundraising at The Fenn School. Today, her areas of expertise include fundraising, communications, and event planning.
Joyce McSweeney
Outreach Worker
Joyce earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Boston College, and her Masters of Education in Counseling from Northeastern University. In a former positon, she was a Supervisor of home health aides and homemakers. While earning a Certificate in Paralegal Studies, Joyce assisted seniors with various legal and civil issues. She feels very fortunate to be part of the Council on Aging, and looks forward to knowing and working with Concord's seniors. Joyce and her husband have four children and live in Needham.
Lynne E. Sookikian, Administrative Assistant
Lynne attended Roger Williams University as well as Bryant College. She has a broad background in the field of Accounting and has worked as a Paralegal. She first came to the COA as a temp who visited seniors in their homes. She enjoyed everyone she met so much that she is now a "permanent" fixture.
Tina Close
Activities Coordinator
Tina is happy to join the Council on Aging to work with Concord's seniors. She earned her undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and her Masters of Education in Counseling from Boston State College. She has had a long career in coordinating community service programs for individuals and families. Tina and her husband live in Acton. They have two children and two grandchildren.
Susan Hoole, Wellness Coordinator
Susan graduated from Boston Children's Hospital School of Nursing. She has been a registered nurse for over 30 years. Susan is also certified in both Holistic nursing and Healing Touch. She has done many types of nursing; hospitals, nursing homes, school, Littleton COA as well as annual volunteer work in Honduras. Susan is excited about her postion as Wellness Coordinator.
 
Jim Gentile, Custodian
Jim Gentile has been the Building Maintenance Custodian for the Harvey Wheeler Community Center for 18 years. He came to this job after working in the hotel industry for several years both at the Sheraton, Boxborough and the Sheraton 4 Points in Leominster. Although Jim's major responsibility is caring for the community center building, he is always ready to help seniors, too. He drives the van in a pinch, helps decorate for COA parties, delivers durable equipment to seniors who can't pick it up and much more! Jim is a valuable member of the COA team.
Neil Cadogan, Custodian
Neil was a pressmen for a printing company for 40 years and then a custodian for a church before coming to the COA. Neil grew up and has lived in Massachusetts all his life. He enjoys antique vehicles and going to camp in Maine. He is married with two young daughters.
