In March 1927, Town Meeting authorized the appointment of a committee of nine members to present a Zoning Bylaw to the Town. In March 1928, Town Meeting adopted its first Zoning Bylaw, establishing the following zoning districts: Industrial, Business, General Residence, and Single Residence. In March 1930, Town Meeting established the Planning Board. The Zoning Bylaw has been amended on many occasions since 1928. Copies of the Zoning Bylaw, updated through the 2005 Annual Town Meeting, are available at the Town Clerk’s Office. This
