COMPETITIVE BIDDING BYLAW
The procurement of supplies, services or real property and the disposing of supplies or real property shall be carried out in conformance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30B as enacted by Chapter 687 of the Acts of 1989, and amendments thereto.  The Town Manager, acting as the Chief Procurement Officer may make any additional administrative rules and regulations governing procurement activities as he may deem necessary for the efficient management of the Town.  The Town Manager is authorized to award contracts for the operation, maintenance, repair and improvement of wastewater treatment facilities for a term not to exceed twenty  (20) years in length, including any renewal, extension or option.
