VOTED: that the following bylaw be adopted:
There shall be an annual audit of the Town’s accounts under the supervision of the Director of Accounts of the Department of Corporations and Taxation in accordance with the provisions of §35, Chapter 44 of the M.G.L.

Editor’s Note:
The Director of Accounts of the Department of Corporations and Taxation (current name Bureau of Accounts of the Department of Revenue) ceased performing these audits due to lack of staff around 1982. The Town of Concord has engaged an independent auditor to conduct an annual audit since that time.
